Beautiful place surrounded by water. It's a great place the play around in kyacks,canoes, paddle boats you name it. We even saw a few wind surfers the weekend we were there. My whole family truly enjoyed it, all 20+ of us
I love this campground. It's set right around a naturally calm inlet so it's great for things like paddle boarding and canoeing. We generally use it for day use only. They recently finished expanding the RV and tent camping area. It looks extremely nice. However, it did make things a little more crowded than they were before. The lack of crowds was the first thing that drew us to this area.
Very nice staff, check-in very easy, grounds are clean, only negative is a large pothole holding water in the middle of the exit row. Clean bath house.
Very nice place to stay. Park attendants were very helpful.
Great campsite right on the lake. Good hiking close by with very easy 1 mile overlook trails all the way up to a 15 mile trek. Plus, there's a dollar general just 1 mile away for all the things that may have been forgotten while packing.
